About

Everyone deserves to know where they stand.

Savology is the financial report card platform. We grade a household's whole financial life in about three minutes, hand them a personalized plan to raise every grade, and — only when there's a real need and a good fit — introduce them to someone who can help.

Why we exist

Financial advice concentrates on the households that already have wealth. Asset minimums, hours of discovery per prospect, and fees tied to managed assets all push in the same direction — which leaves the overwhelming majority of American households without a plan of any kind.

That's a market-design problem, not a demand problem. People want to know where they stand; nobody built them an on-ramp. The report card is that on-ramp: three minutes, no account linking, honest grades, and a plan you can act on alone if you want to.

More than 100,000 households have used Savology to see where they stand, and the platform behind the report card holds 19 planning modules and 18 literacy courses across 60 lessons.

Common questions

Who is behind Savology?

Savology is led by Brian Case, CFP®, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional with three decades in financial services who ran an advisory practice before selling it. Savology has been building financial planning technology since 2019.

How does Savology make money if the report card is free?

Two ways, neither of which is selling personal data. Organizations — employers, plan sponsors, and advisory firms — pay to offer Savology to their own people. Separately, households who came to Savology through its own marketing can be introduced to a financial advisor, and advisors pay a transparent fixed price for that introduction. The two are kept separate; see the data separation page.

Is Savology a financial advisor?

No. Savology provides financial planning tools, education, and — when there is a real need and a good fit — introductions to advisors. Savology does not provide investment advice or sell investment products.
